I need LED lights but not many about 2 feet so around 24 on a strip and I need them battery powered. Help?
I am making a deadmau5 head and I want LEDs in the mouth so I'm thinking spaced about 1" roughly. I need a strip of LEDs or even the christmas lights will work (battery powered of course). My main question is can these be cut if I get them?
So far the most promising ones I've found are these (color doesn't really matter, my head will be black so anything but white would be desired):

Also I found this: http://www.save-on-crafts.com/elwires8.html which I would put around the outside so it doesn't really matter if I can cut it but if need be can I?
I don't really know enough about these types of things to judge weather or not I can cut the lights and then have them working fine so some feedback will be much appreciated.

You could cut it every 3 LEDs,http://www.comlite-led.com/outdoor-led-strip/16-type-c-ip65-covered-by-glue-on-upper-surface.html Do you see the forfex ? You can cut it with this line.
