What do you think of this scrapbooking idea?
For Christmas this year, I am thinking of making all of the gifts I will be giving people. I had an idea to make mini-scrapbooks (about 4 or 5) for my dad, grandparents, sister and niece, and my mom. I think I remember seeing those mini albums at a scrapbook store once. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone thought this would be a good idea. If you have any other ideas that are related to this (like maybe not a mini-scrapbook, but some other type of handmade keepsake) then I'd love to hear your ideas.

Sounds like a great idea! It will be easier if you can make them all the same, so that you can just assemble them all at once. It can get exspensive, so you may want to consider making "digital" pages. You can print a 6 X 6 size which is pretty standard from any printer.
Another idea: I have been making calendars for my family. I have been scanning and retouching family potos and them making them into calendars on the computer. You can make them to fit into an empty CD case (just take out the part that holds the CD). It will prop up on a desk and doesn't take a lot of space. If designing the whole thing on a computer isn't what you want, you can print up small calendar pages and paste them on cardstock and embellish from there, with or without photos.
