What's Christmas to you?
Right now since we are living in the South U.S., there's no snow i don't see much decoration. Sadly I don't get a chance to celebrate it because of poverty and the people i live with are selfish. Anywho, what's your Christmas? Snow outside? Decorations and a tree? Christmas cookies??? T_T OMG im missing out 
. What's it like for you?
It is the golden calf. . . it is what Christians offer up to God despite the fact that He gae us the way to worship Him, despite that He ordained His perfect times and seasons that are wrought with meaning and blessing. It is what the modern church offers up despite the fact that God said do not worship me in the way of the pagans. It is a pagan holiday whose traditions and rituals are still pretty much mirror exactly the original pagan - it is us operating in our own understanding, enying God's design for our own traitions and our own ways. . .
look at the story of the golden calf again. . . I was always taught that the Israelites were intending to worship the calf but look again . . . they fashioned the calf and then said, let us worship YWYH. . .their intentions were to worship God, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob- but they were worshiping in the way they learned in Egypt- it was God who said, regardless of what YOU say is in your heart, you are worshiping in their way, you are worshiping a false god- you refuse to worship in the way that I have ordained- you break my commands by offering up to me what stinks - Christmas is all pretty bows and wrapping on the outside but it stinks- it's origins are pagan, a rotting mass of abomination. It is the golden calf, we can put the name of Jesus on it all we want but it is what it is and in using an abomination to "honor" Jesus, we actually honor a false god, a lawless Jesus and we preach another gospel. . . a gospel of death. Jesus was not born on December 25 - December 25 is a date ordained, not by God, but by Constantine- it is the day of Mithras - the tree, decorations, traditions and rituals honor Nimrod and hisson, not Yeshua, not the one true God, the God of Abraham , Isaac, and Jacob.
