Is there hope or was it just a fluke?
Just went to get the Post and VOILA received the christmas card my childrens grandmother send them from England. Card is postmarked 12 December 2007. But that does not surprise me what surprise me is that the 50 Pound note and two packets of sweets that she squeezed into the envelope are still there. The south african post office sealed the envelope in a clear palstic bag on which is printed "The SA Post Offices apologizes for damaging your letter".........Do you think there is hope for us in this dark tunnel?
M.C. It took almost 6 (six) weeks to get to SA? It was not a parcel but a card/letter.
My experience of sending DVD's etc from the UK to South Africa is unless it is sent Registered and Insured it never arrives. Maybe they have cleaned up their act but I suspect it was a fluke.
