Christmas tree decorating with ribbon?
I recently found some 12 yards of red velvet ribbon with a gold beaded edge (pic below) on clearance for $2, and I was thinking of using it on my tree this year. What do you think would be better: wrapping the ribbon around the tree like a garland or draping the ribbon vertically down the tree from the top?

Very pretty ribbon! We used some similar to it one year.
Anyways, every year my mom puts ribbon on our tree, and we alternate how we do it... we either drape it down vertically from the top, we wrap it around the entire tree, or we make bows out of it to put on the branches. We've done it other ways, too, but I can't really remember them. Just play around with it and decide what you think is best. Also, you could Google the different ways to cut ribbon.
